Polokwane City coach, Boebie Solomons, revealed to the Siya crew that their game against Free State Stars is a must win.
Rise and Shine has lost five of their previous games and they can’t afford to slip up this time around, they welcome fellow strugglers at home.
“We’ve lost five games in a row but the positive side of it is that four of these games were away games. As you know we’ve played very well at home and it’s only the Wits game that we lost at home. We’re looking at changing that this tonight. I believe the travelling and the lack of experience cost us a lot. In some games we were a bit unlucky you know and we’ve been under pressure.
“Like we played four games in 11 days, the PSL has made our life terrible especially for us spending hours on the road. Travelling like 10 hours on the road killed us. The Bloemfontein Celtic game was just planned poorly and it made things worse because we only had few days to prepare for the Mamelodi Sundowns game. Having said that, we need to redeem ourselves and start picking up points, this is our crucial game and a must win. We don’t have suspensions but niggling injuries for Vukile Mngqibisa and Puleng Tlolane excluding Kabelo Lichaba who is definitely out,” said Mzala.
City is placed at position 15 after 23 outings with 19 points and Ea Lla Koto placed above them with 20 points after 22 games.
