Mamelodi Sundowns’ Khama Billiat has been the talk of the town as of late, with the player edging closer to the end of his deal with Sundowns (June 30), while also believed to already have a host of interested suitors. Should Sundowns still be unable to secure the player’s signature on a new deal, Billiat will be able to leave on a free to a club of his choice at the end of June.
Other Sundowns players such as Asavela Mbekile and Thabo Nthethe are also in the final five months of their contracts and with their respective circumstances still unchanged, it seems that the duo will also leave on a free at the end of their deals.
As previously reported, Bidvest Wits’ Vincent Pule confirmed to the media that he will be making the move to Kaizer Chiefs at the end of the season after putting pen to paper on a pre-contract with the Soweto giants.
Ajax Cape Town’s former captain, Travis Graham, who has been out of favour at the club for several months, will also leave on a free when his deal expires on June 30 this year.
Another player whose future is still hanging in the air is Chiefs’ Brilliant Khuzwayo, who will see his contract at Naturena expire on June 30, unless Amakhosi are able to secure his signature on a new deal.
