Anas Among Confirmed Departures From Stars, Mthembu's Future In Doubt

Player Movements In Progress At Free State Stars

Free State Stars have confirmed the departures of two of their top players in Mohammed Anas and Katlego Mashego.

As confirmed to the Siya crew by the club’s general manager, Rantsi Mokoena, both Anas and Mashego have been allowed to move on with their careers.

It has been earlier reported on this website that Ea Lla Koto have also parted ways with midfielder Tebogo Potsane, who is linked with a move to Gauteng.

Furthermore, the Siya crew has learnt that former Kaizer Chiefs and Orlando Pirates striker Siphelele Mthembu is facing an uncertain future at the Bethlehem club.

The 30-year-old player’s contract with Stars is set to expire at the end of the month. While the player has reportedly indicated that he would like to continue at the club for the new season, but Stars have been yet to confirm if he will be staying.
