Platinum Stars have provided an update on the injury status of their players as they look to resume the current campaign and get back to winning ways.
Roger De Sa’s men currently find themselves at the tail end of the league table with only one win in ten league games and De Sa will be hoping to have all his players available when Dikwena host Bloemfontein Celtic later this month.
Speaking to the Siya crew, Platinum Stars Communications Manager, Tebogo Mochadibane confirmed that Stars had welcomed back midfielder Abia Nale who was returning from an injury. The former Kaizer Chiefs man has missed the last seven league games for Dikwena with his last appearance being against Chippa United.
“Nale is back in the team and will be a welcome addition to the team as he has been sorely missed,” Mochadibane told the crew.
“Nale has been part of the preparations during the international break as we have played a few friendly fixtures to get the team ready as we want to improve our position and having a full squad will be key for us,” added the Stars spokesperson.
Meanwhile, another long-term injury casualty is Mduduzi Nyanda who is still recovering from an Achilles tendon injury.
Platinum Stars' next league game will be against Siwlele on Wednesday 22 November at the Royal Bafokeng Stadium.
