Platinum Stars have exercised their option to keep defender Thabiso Semenya at the team for another year, and have extended his contract.
The defender who joined the team from Carara Kicks three years ago, told the Siya crew that he is happy that he will remain at the team.
He said that the team has helped him develop as a player and it's good to continue with career there.
"It is good that I will remain at the team," Semenya told the Siya crew.
"I have enjoyed my stay here since I joined the team. I will continue to work had and achieve things with the team.
"I am happy to the technical team and the players who have helped me develop my game."
Semenya made 15 league appearances last season, and was part of the match squad for 26 of Dikwena's 30 league games.
While he didn't score in the league, he did find the back of the net in both the tournaments Dikwena won, the MTN8 and Telkom Knockout.
