Mamelodi Sundowns coach, Pitso Mosimane, feels that Orlando Pirates have enough time to prepare for their game on the weekend, compared to his team.
Sundowns and Pirates clash in the quarter-finals of the Nedbank Cup at the Loftus Stadium on Saturday night. The Brazilians are on-form at the moment, and are also challenging for the league title.
The Chloorkop outfit have won seven games in succession, including the important wins against Kaizer Chiefs and Bloemfontein Celtic respectively.
The team’s last game was against Celtic on Wednesday night, while Pirates last played during their 1-0 loss to SuperSport United last weekend.
The official PSL Twitter account said, “We didn’t have enough rest. Pirates have 7 days to prepare. We respect Pirates.” - Pitso Mosimane. #NedbankCup.
