Pitso Mosimane Wants Khama Billiat To Stay
Mamelodi Sundowns head coach, Pitso Mosimane wants Khama Billiat to remain at the club but admits that the final decision lies in the hands of the Zimbabwean.
Billiat’s contract with Sundowns is set to come to an end on June 30 of 2018 and according to Siya sources, the player has still not put pen to paper on the new deal tabled to him by the Brazilians.
Speaking after Sundowns’ 1-0 defeat to Cape Town City in the Absa Premiership last night, Head Coach Mosimane confirmed that Billiat is yet to make a decision about whether or not he wants to remain at the club beyond the current 2017/18 campaign.
“We want him (Khama Billiat) to stay. We want him to renew, but it is all up to him. He is not playing that well here. How many games has he played? Four/Five? Hopefully, he stays, we would love him to stay but if he decides to go, then he has the power. When your contract is like that, then you have the power,” Mosimane told SuperSport TV after the match.
The 27-year-old Zimbabwean has recently been linked with a move to Orlando Pirates and Kaizer Chiefs according to Siya sources, however, at this point, he is yet to make a decision about his immediate future.
