Mamelodi Sundowns head coach, Pitso Mosimane does not want to get too excited about winning a trophy in pre-season.
The Brazilians claimed a 2-1 victory over Kaizer Chiefs in the inaugural Shell Helix Cup competition; however, Mosimane admits that it is still early stages to judge the team’s capabilities.
“You could see Castro is still a very good football player, you could see that Khama is dangerous, probably was disappointed not to score the goal, Kennedy blocked it,” Mosimane said.
“(It’s the) beginning guys, it is the early stages we can not be talking much about this, this is a pre-season trophy, it is a pre-season cup. I mean we can’t be talking much about it. Good cup obviously, but technically, it is early stages, we can not be talking much about this game,” he added.
