Pitso Mosimane On Hlompho Kekana’s Form And 'Puskas-Like' Goal
Mamelodi Sundowns head coach, Pitso Mosimane has spoken highly of his team captain, Hlompho Kekana after the player picked up the Player of the Month award yesterday.
The Premier Soccer League awarded Kekana with the Absa Premiership Player of the Month award for November, after his stellar performances to help the team climb up the league standings.
Speaking on Sundowns’ official website, Mosimane has praised the skipper, saying that the 32-year-old has been working hard on his form.
“And of course I’m really happy for ‘Keke’ (Hlompho) he deserves it because he really works hard on his game. His contribution goes beyond just on the pitch but also provides leadership off the field, especially for the youngsters,” Mosimane said.
“I also believe he will win Goal Of The Month for his long-range effort against Orlando Pirates. That goal was truly special and in a class of its own, perhaps should see Hlompho nominated for the Puskas Awards once again,” he added.
