Pitso Mosimane is not concerned about the injuries currently plaguing his Mamelodi Sundowns outfit, citing strength in depth as a solution.
With the likes of Bongani Zungu, Denis Onyango and Asavela Mbekile out injured, Sundowns will likely struggle to maintain their best form for this season’s run-in.
The 51-year-old acknowledged that there are important players missing and that the team will suffer without them.
“We know that every player is important in the team,” he told the Siya crew. “Every player has a different role that they play in the team and when they are out we miss their contribution to the team.”
However, Mosimane said that the squad players have what it takes to cover for the players that have picked up injuries.
"But it's good that we have a good squad of players who can step up when the others are injured and that's why we are where we are now in all the competitions we are playing in. We want to win everything that we compete in," the former Bafana Bafana mentor explained.
