Mamelodi Sundowns head coach, Pitso Mosimane, seemed to have questioned the Premier Soccer League’s judging committee, with regards to who the coach of the season award will be awarded to.

After Sundowns’ draw to Fadlu Davids’ Maritzburg United last night, Mosimane opened up about who he thinks the Absa Premiership coach of the season award should go to.
However, in the same breath, the head coach revealed that he thinks there are people on the judging panel who do not want him to win the award and pointed out development coach, Farouk Khan, in particular.
“Fadlu Davids is my candidate to win coach of the year and not your cheerleaders at your studios who are unbelievable and punting and doing it against me. I know they do it against me,” Mosimane told SuperSport TV after the game.
“SuperSport 4, they do it against me, anything against me, it’s okay, but it is Sundowns you know, I can just match my records.”
“Yes (they don’t want me to win Coach of the Season), but I can give it to him because he deserves it (so) they don’t have to punt it and especially Farouk Khan, he is conflicted, why is he talking about it, he is (on) the panel. That’s my opinion and I have a right to say it.”
“He doesn’t have to respond, pull the clip that him and Robert were talking about it, what response? It’s there; you’ve got it on your archives. Yes he must not do that, but I tonight give it to Fadlu Davids, not him,” he added.
