Mamelodi Sundowns coach Pitso Mosimane has told the Siya crew that he will not rush his foreign players into the squad, as he wants them to adjust to the team system first.
Mosimane believes that slowly introducing the players into the team is important in ensuring their success, and used Kaizer Chiefs’ Ivan Bukenya as a good example of waiting for the right time.
He said that when his team have taken a lead and there are a few minutes to go, he will take the opportunity to introduce the players and allow them to adjust.
"That's the right time when to introduce on a foreigner. I like what Chiefs did with Bukenya. They kept him for one year with nothing and now he is coming out of the shell,” said Mosimane.
“At times we need to protect our foreigners and introduce them when the time is right," the former Bafana Bafana mentor concluded.
