Mamelodi Sundowns coach Pitso Mosimane has said that his Colombian-born striker, Leonardo Castro, is not yet ready to play for 90 minutes - hence he is not rushing him.
Mosimane told the Siya crew that Castro will be given few minutes during games so that he can gain the confidence that he needs to start playing his normal game.
"He is not very fit. He can only play about 20 to 30 minutes. He is not yet fit to play the full 90 minutes, but we will be introducing him bit by bit,” said the Sundowns coach.
“At times like this it’s also important that you protect the players and introduce them bit by bit," the former Bafana Bafana coach concluded.
