Mamelodi Sundowns coach insists he side gave everything in their 2-1 loss to Orlando Pirates in the Nedbank Cup quarter-finals.
Elias Pelembe cancelled out Oupa Manyisa's sixth minute penalty, before Daine Klate sealed the win for Pirates in the 61st minute but Pitso was not happy with the forced substitutions he had to make.
"I Think the challenge for us was a forced substitution of Mzikayisa Mashaba and the penalty in the third minutes," said Mosimane.
"Maybe it's a penalty, I'm not sure, I couldn't see because I was far and then when you have to reply with subs, you are forced to make substitutes because people are injured.
"Khama got injured and Musi(Mashaba) got injured, it's not tactical substitutions, it's substitutes because others are injured.
"But what a day, what a night, how difficult was it for Surprise(Moriri), everything falls on him, I mean how many chances did he miss, I feel sorry for him.
"My team fought, we gave everything and we accept the defeat."
