Mamelodi Sundowns head coach, Pitso Mosimane, has heaped praise on his assistants Rhulani Mokoena And Manqoba Mngqithi.
Goals from Cuthbert Malajila and Khama Billiat handed Sundowns a 2-0 win over Ea Lla Koto and the former Bafana Bafana coach admits he never trained with the side after the loss to Bidvest Wits.
"I'm so happy for Denis Onyango, he did very well and he deserves and the goalkeeper from Free State Stars, but I really want to acknowledge the support I around from the technical team, the goalkeeper coach," he said after the game.
"I also want to praise my assistants, they played a big role in helping me with the substitutions when we were 10 against 11, I was struggling after the Wits game, I never took the team and they trained the team and shows the support I have it's not only about me."
Mosimane refused to comment on the performance of the referee after they denied a penalty and had a man sent off.
"It was a tough game but the boys played with integrity, they should that the current champions that no matter what, we go down once but we come up stronger, and we come up stronger with 10 men and score two goals," he said.
"I don't talk about referees, because the PSL fines me a lot of money, I think I paid about R500 000 to the PSL and I need that money for my school kids,"
