Pitso Mosimane maintained that he is not focused on the issue involving Ajax Cape Town and Tendai Ndoro despite the possibility of points being docked from the Urban Warriors.
Despite several rulings being made by the people in authority, there could still be a possibility that Ajax may be docked points in certain encounters where Ndoro was fielded, one of which was in a 3-0 victory over Orlando Pirates.
The ongoing Ndoro saga has seen many people in the football fraternity weigh in on the matter, although Mosimane has chosen to distance himself from the issue, saying that he cannot worry whether or not their league rivals, the Buccaneers, will be awarded points to improve their position on the log.
“Why (should) I worry if Pirates wants to win the other way? If they can get it from the court, from the table, they will get it, how am I going to influence that? Imagine now you worry about that and you forget about your games, so you have to do what you have to do, you have to focus on your games and the others, sometimes court cases say Ndoro is supposed to play, no Ndoro was not supposed to play, yeah, look I don’t want to go much in to that, I think Sundowns must focus on winning on the pitch,” Mosimane told the media.
