Pitso Gives Update On Billiat’s Situation…

Pitso Mosimane Has Provided An Update On Khama Billiat's Situation At The Club

By Soccer Laduma - Apr 02, 2018 10:03 AM

Mamelodi Sundowns head coach, Pitso Mosimane has given an update on Khama Billiat’s situation at the club.

The Zimbabwean international will see his contract come to an end on June 30 this year, with Sundowns making endless attempts to try and keep the player on board beyond the current season.

Despite Billiat’s immense contribution to the side, as seen whenever the player is fit, there has still been no agreement reached to keep the player at the club.

“It is still the same, nothing has changed with Khama,” Mosimane told the media after Sundowns’ 2-1 win over Cape Town City yesterday.

Billiat has been linked with several Premier Soccer League outfits, with the likes of Kaizer Chiefs and Orlando Pirates believed to have been interested in offering the player a pre-contract.

In addition, there has been talk of the Azerbaijani outfit, Qarabag, who were believed to be looking to bring the player on board at the club in the new season, although nothing has been confirmed as yet.

As things stand, it seems likely that the playmaker will be making his way out of the Chloorkop-based club, although with three months still left to go, things may change and it remains to be seen where the player will end up in the new season.

@Mpyek Billiat will make his own decision regardsless of what you think, If he decides to go to chiefs, He will. Whether you approve of it or not.

Should Khama join Chiefs, that would be the end of his career, pirates is a much better choice if he really wants to leave us at Downs

@sikunikuthando FYI Rama left because he didn't think Sundowns will offer him a new contract, so he just took whatever offer that came his way

@sikunikuthando yeah you're right chiefs can only afford to pay players a huge monthly salary but they don't get to pay a signing fee worth millions, they prefer free agents

Dunu must give Billiat what he deserves, this player is good, I don't think he wants to leave this team but he wants more money (salary) . It's unfair to rely on huge trophy win bonus while monthly salary is low. Billiat make Tau tick and dunu tick. Pitso still heavily relies on him, he has no choice! Even Brockie's arrival can't shake dunu reliance on Billiat, dunu must pay . Even Lebese because is from Chiefs is earning better than Billiat though he took salary cut , it's unfair dunu must start paying players the salary they deserve. They buy them with multimillion Rands enriching club owners and agents but under pay them it's unfair, rather get them free and pay them huge or what they deserve.

Those who say chiefs cnt afford Biliat financialy let me remind them. Why did Rama leave them for Chiefs? Wht Khama is earnung at dunu z far less than wht Parker Masilela Shabba are earning. Let alone Itu's salary and wht Xulu was getting too.

sundowns are able of keeping him but with that policy of Pitso I dont think so.as Pitso will treat him Just like Laffor should he get what he wants.

@Denelson11 : ZEBRAS are broke they can't afford Billiat's salary let alone they are failing to sign quality players they wait for their contracts to expire.

What we should realise in some stages of life is,the more we have a lot of foreign talent we become week.Check or striking department when we face other foreign national teams. We end up calling our own talent cows,is because we are not capable of grooming our own strikers. But coming to team levels,we have good strikers who play every game in our league. The a question raise;how many strikers we gave around the world who are as sharp as we sharpen foreign strikers? This is not xenophobic content, but a mind opener to those who like the truth.#UP THE BUCS.

Khama is a good player and I like him but if he wants to go then he must go, he joined Sundowns not Sundowns joined him, it has always been there his absence won't change it
