Pitso Gives Update On Billiat’s Situation…

Mamelodi Sundowns head coach, Pitso Mosimane has given an update on Khama Billiat’s situation at the club.

The Zimbabwean international will see his contract come to an end on June 30 this year, with Sundowns making endless attempts to try and keep the player on board beyond the current season.

Despite Billiat’s immense contribution to the side, as seen whenever the player is fit, there has still been no agreement reached to keep the player at the club.

“It is still the same, nothing has changed with Khama,” Mosimane told the media after Sundowns’ 2-1 win over Cape Town City yesterday.

Billiat has been linked with several Premier Soccer League outfits, with the likes of Kaizer Chiefs and Orlando Pirates believed to have been interested in offering the player a pre-contract.

In addition, there has been talk of the Azerbaijani outfit, Qarabag, who were believed to be looking to bring the player on board at the club in the new season, although nothing has been confirmed as yet.

As things stand, it seems likely that the playmaker will be making his way out of the Chloorkop-based club, although with three months still left to go, things may change and it remains to be seen where the player will end up in the new season.
