Speaking to the media, Mosimane revealed that Sundowns are a bit behind in the way they have started the league campaign, compared to the two seasons before.
“I know, odds are a little bit against us, doesn’t look that nice but we got four points out of six, not easy to get that even though we wanted to get maximum points but we’ve got to respect AmaZulu,” Mosimane told the media after the game.
“We got four goals in two games, we don’t look that convincing but if you really look at it, out of five games we played, we kept three clean sheets.
“When we lost the league to Wits, the first five games we were 11 points. Last year, we were seven points, this year, how many? Nine, so we are two points ahead in five games than last year, but we are two points behind in the year before, so we are short at this point in time, we are short in three points so we have to look at it in the next block, as the time goes on, you’ll get there,” he added.
