After the full-time whistle, Mosimane was pictured running down the field in celebration, with the head coach since explaining what prompted his reaction, maintaining that it was not about their rivals on the day.
“It’s not about Kaizer Chiefs, it is about the moment, big game, you want the three points, a difficult game for us, maybe a copy from Steve because also I was running everywhere, everybody is running so why can't I run once, I’ve seen Dan Malesela running everywhere, so can I also run once?” Mosimane told the media after the game
“Let the emotions go, so why not? Not to disrespect the opponents, it is a big game but the three points, it’s very, very big because I know, not many teams will come here and win, it is a big three points,” he added.
