Head Coach Pitso Mosimane has revealed what he needs Lebohang Maboe to do more often.
The 24-year-old scored his second Absa Premiership goal for the Brazilians in their 1-0 win over Golden Arrows at the Princess Magogo Stadium.
Speaking to the media, Mosimane praised Maboe for being a good player but admitted that he needs to work harder on a few other aspects of his game.
“Sometimes he loses balls that I don’t think he must, but you must also understand that he has not played at this level, but he works hard, he responds, he is a good boy, a good player,” Mosimane said after the match.
“He needs more confidence, I need him to dribble a little bit, he is too conservative, he doesn’t want to lose the ball, he can dribble, here he is worried about not making mistakes and I have to make him aware that you have to dance on the ball sometimes, Mshishi (Themba Zwane) dances, Gaston dances, we had him on the bench, we could have played him but with this conditions, not too good,” he added.
