Mosimane Confirms That Ngele's Move To SuperSport Was Part Of Brockie Deal
Pitso Mosimane Confirmed That Mogakolodi Ngele Was Part Of The Jeremy Brockie Deal
Mamelodi Sundowns head coach, Pitso Mosimane confirmed that Mogakolodi Ngele was part of the deal to get Jeremy Brockie.
Sundowns finally captured their marquee signing, Jeremy Brockie, earlier in the transfer window, after more than a year of interest in the player.
However, with the new additions to the squad, several Masandawana players completed moves elsewhere, including Ngele.
Head Coach Mosimane confirmed at a press conference this weekend that Ngele’s loan move to SuperSport was part of the Brockie deal, also confirming that he might release more players soon.
“You have to be honest and not to keep players and hot players. If the guy has to go get a chance and play somewhere, I think it is only fair for us to also look after the welfare of players and release them and they want to go and play,” Mosimane told the media.
“It was also part of the Brockie (deal) but we didn’t want to say it, we agreed that we will do it. “
When asked whether the club will be releasing more players, Mosimane said, “We will see, I don’t like to keep big numbers, Sundowns is always known for keeping a lot of players, I like 24, 25. It is big enough for us. When it goes to 30, players become disgruntled and you have an unhappy camp, you have people not happy. So, it is important to release.”
