Pitso Mosimane gave his thoughts on some of the decisions by the officials during the Absa Premiership clash between Mamelodi Sundowns and Polokwane City.
The Brazilians played to a 1-1 draw at the Loftus Versfeld Stadium on Tuesday evening, with Denis Onyango’s error in goal, denying Sundowns maximum points on the night.
Speaking to the media, Mosimane pointed out that there were a few decisions by the officials that he was unclear of, adding that he questioned them because he always wants to learn more about the laws of the game.
“I don’t know the laws of the games properly, I am not an expert. I saw a foul on the right side and he gave a yellow card and then I saw a foul on the left and there is no yellow,” Mosimane told the media after the game.
“So probably - I am missing a technicality, but I always want to learn, I always want people to educate me why this one is a yellow and the other one?
“But he is a young referee, he needs to get games like this to improve. There were a (few) fouls that he gave in the first half, but more to Polokwane.
“But this one is whistle happy, I mean really, I don’t say it isn't fouls, but he loves the whistle, he stops the game so many times. He is happy to blow,” he added.
