Pitso Hails ' Unbelievable' Downs Defender
Mamelodi Sundowns coach Pitso Mosimane singled out praise for one of his defenders, following the 1-0 win over SuperSport United.
Hlompho Kekana's 82nd minute strike proved to be the difference between the two sides and Mosimane revealed his delight at garnering the victory against a resilient SuperSport outfit.
The former Bafana Bafana international had praise for man-of-the-match Motjeka Madisha whom he labelled as an "unbelievable player", in addition to revealing that his side have squandered their games in-hand.
"I think Madisha must be saying that I've been wasting his time ,all this time at MDC, but unbelievable, unbelievable player. Timing right, speed right, unbelievable. Look he played Champions League last year you know, but this level is another level. I am so happy for him. But we grinding the results.
"No we squandered our games in hand, thats a fact and are no longer there. Maybe Sundowns is like this, maybe Sundowns want it when it is on the edge and ya 1-0 you go through, 1-0 again, I'm happy to take 1-0"s if it allows the five we will take it, but this is not a five tonight let's be honest.
"They well organised Supersport United team, we probed and probed, but it was not there. But I am happy for the boys, I am happy for the supporters they have been patient with us. 5 games we don't win, 2 losses 3 draws they kept singing, they are still singing tonight. We should give them credit. They kept us going," he concluded.
Madisha revealed his joy at picking up his second consecutive man-of-the-match award and dedicated the accolade to his mother and father who supported him during his career.
"Yes, as a team we had to fight, we had to come to the party and play our roles. As you can see we managed to win and I would also like to dedicate this to my mother and father, for being there for me until now," he added.
"Like I said I would also like to thank my coaches for believing in me, for giving me the opportunity to play so one game at a time. So we will focus on another rmatch," Madisha concluded.
