News reaching the Siya crew is that Orlando Pirates youngster and Amajita striker, Siyanda Ngubo, has attracted interest from PSL, NFD and Vodacom League teams.
The 17-year-old striker was one of the top goal-scorers for Amajita in the Cosafa U20 Championship in Lesotho in December, and it seems that his displays for the Shakes Mashaba led side didn’t go unnoticed.
Ngubo’s agent Mike Makaab of Prosport International confirmed to the Siya crew that there are teams that are after the youngster’s services.
“He is from the Pirates development academy, so any discussions about his move would have to include Pirates,” Makaab told the crew.
“I can confirm that there are teams from the PSL, NFD and Vodacom League, who have shown interest in him. The strong interest though is from the NFD and Vodacom teams,” added Makaab.
Ngubo is the second Pirates and Amajita player to attract interest from the PSL teams after several PSL teams showed interest in left back, Tebogo Moerane.
Moerane is also represented by Makaab and he told the crew that he is expecting to conclude a deal soon for the talented defender.
