News reaching the Siya crew is that Orlando Pirates will play Mozambican side Costa do Sol in a practice match at the Rand Stadium this morning.
The match will be played behind closed doors.
Pirates coach, Roger de Sa, told orlandopiratesfc.com that this practice match will be of critical importance for the club going into next Tuesday’s game against Wits at the Orlando Stadium.
“This will be a good practice for us. I know this team has quite a few good players who will give us a good fight,” said De Sa.
“Despite having won on Monday, I think we did not have a good match. This will be a practice match where we will try to use everybody and see if they can give us different options for our match against Wits next week.”
Costa do Sol are in South Africa on a pre-season camp in preparation for the start of their domestic league in March.
