Orlando Pirates, Wits and Maritzburg United target, Yakubu Mohammed, will join whichever team tables the best offer, according to his current chairman.
Kudjoe Fianoo, of Ashanti Gold in Ghana, recently returned home after a brief spell in South Africa, where he spoke to both Pirates and Maritzburg.
It was revealed by the Siya crew last week that 24-year-old, Mohammed, has attracted interest from a host of PSL clubs, with the Buccaneers thought to be leading the race.
However, Fianoo has explained that no decision has been made regarding the striker yet, and that whoever puts in the best offer will land the talented forward.
Fianoo told the crew, “We have our last league game this weekend, something will happen after that. We have received interest from Maritzburg and Wits as well as Pirates, but the club will accept the best offer.”
There have been indications that Mohammed could travel to Mzansi after this weekend’s game with Real Tamale, as he looks to make a decision on where he will be playing his football next season.
Orlando Pirates and Kaizer Chiefs will clash on July 27, with the title of 2013 Carling Black Label Cup champions up for grabs.
