Pirates Take Aim At AmaZulu After SuperSport Draw

Based on statistics from their matches over the years, Orlando Pirates enjoy an advantage over AmaZulu, going into their upcoming clash scheduled for the weekend.

The Buccaneers will be away to Usuthu in an Absa Premiership match at the King Zwelithini Stadium on Sunday. In their most recent match, Bucs drew 0-0 with SuperSport United on Wednesday evening, while AmaZulu’s most recent result was their 1-1 draw with Bloemfontein Celtic at the Dr Molemela Stadium last Sunday.

In head-to-head statistics between Pirates and AmaZulu, the Buccaneers have claimed 23 wins compared to Usuthu’s 10 from their 54 league matches in over three decades.

21 of the matches between two of the oldest teams in Mzansi have been draws. AmaZulu have won six from 27 of their home matches in the league against Pirates. Bucs have won eight matches against AmaZulu away from home.

The last 11 matches between AmaZulu and Pirates produced 15 goals.

Statistics counts for nothing when it comes to match day,it's a matter of who comes to the match well prepared so Pirates' slight dominate over Amazulu won't win us the game and if we continue with the same vain of missing seaters in front of goals the way we did against SSU then I'm afraid we might end up loosing...anyway all the best to the boys!!
