Orlando Pirates legend, Dumisa Ngobe, is backing the team to do well against SuperSport United.

The Buccaneers will host Matsatsantsa in an Absa Premiership game at Orlando Stadium tonight. Despite the fact that Pirates have struggled to win against SuperSport in their recent games, Ngobe is confident that things could change for the Soweto giants under their current coach, Milutin Sredojevic.
“Pirates is in a rebuilding phase at the moment. The coach is trying to find right combinations. Pirates are playing good football at the moment but the only thing that is lacking in their game is finishing. They are not scoring and they are not conceding (Pirates have scored one goal and kept a clean sheet in their last two games). I’m thinking that maybe the coach is focusing on the defence, and maybe he is going to implement a different approach gradually,” said Ngobe.

Bucs are in second place on the PSL log with 18 points from 12 games, while SuperSport are 10th with 13 points from six games.
“If it’s going to happen that again tonight they are not going to score, I don’t think they will concede either. Tonight’s game is going to be tough but I don’t see Pirates losing. The loss for them would be a draw. Defensively, the team is doing well. They do create opportunities to score but they are not converting their chances,” concluded Ngobe.
