Speculation has once again surfaced claiming that Zambian international Isaac Chansa is on his way back to Orlando Pirates after the 2013 Africa Cup of Nations.
The move, according to a source at the team, will depend on the future of Namibian Rudolf Bester and the potential signing of Zambian Rainford Kalaba.
The source told the Siya crew that Chansa's agent is talking to Pirates, but that nothing concrete has been concluded yet.
"The chances of him coming to Pirates are there. He wants to leave China where the league is now over and wants to come back to South Africa," said the source.
"His agent has been talking to Pirates but there are few areas that Pirates need to sort out before they can sign another foreigner. But what I heard is that Isaac (Chansa) will now apply for a Permanent Residence Permit (PRP) so it will be easier to have him as a local," said the source.
Speaking on condition of anonymity, a Pirates official, however, told Soccer-Laduma that there is "no way" Chansa will be returning to Mayfair. "I've heard the rumours and I can guarentee that is not going to happen."
