Orlando Pirates have confirmed their travelling plans for Saturday’s must-win CAF Champions League clash away to African Stars in Windhoek.
The Namibian outfit managed to hold the Buccaneers to a goalless draw last weekend at Orlando Stadium in the first leg of their first round tie, leaving coach Micho Sredojevic a disappointed figure.

Pirates, who need a score draw at the very least to progress to the group stages of the competition, will leave South Africa tomorrow for Namibia and return on Sunday before heading into the Christmas break.
Windhoek’s Sam Nujoma Stadium, which holds a capacity crowd of just over 10 000, will be the venue for Saturday’s fixture and kick-off is at 4pm.
The travelling squad has not yet been confirmed, but it is likely that Sredojevic will take a strong team to get the job done and qualify for the group stages of the Champions League.
It’s five years since the Buccaneers were last in the continent’s premium club tournament having won it in 1995 and beaten in the final by Egyptian powerhouse Al Ahly in 2013 under then coach Roger De Sa.
