Orlando Pirates defender Patrick Phungwayo is confident that the Buccaneers will put one over their Soweto rivals, Kaizer Chiefs, on Tuesday and reach the final of the MTN8.

The Buccaneers carry a 1-0 first leg advantage going into Tuesday’s match at Orlando Stadium. Phungwayo believes that the slight advantage will be in Bucs’ favour in the Soweto derby.
“It’s been some time since we lost to Chiefs at home. Plus we are playing at our happy hunting ground, Orlando Stadium, so I’m quite optimistic about our chances of reaching the MTN8 final,” Phungwayo told the Siya crew.
“Having said that, this is a derby and you know how unpredictable they are. So we need to approach the game against Chiefs very carefully and not think that just because we have a one goal advantage, we have already beaten them. We need to go for a win,” added Phungwayo.
Meanwhile, news reaching the Siya crew is that midfielder Sifiso Myeni could still play in tomorrow's game.
Myeni received a knock in Pirates’ 0-0 draw against Al Ahly in the Champions League but it seems that the midfielder will be ready to face Chiefs.
