Phil Masinga is impressed by his former club, Mamelodi Sundowns’ performances this season.
Sundowns are currently top of the PSL standings and are still in contention to win the Nedbank Cup and the CAF Champions League. This puts them in contention to end the season with an unprecedented quadruple after winning the Telkom Knockout earlier this season.
The 46-year-old has discussed Pitso Mosimane’s outfit’s good performances this season and believes that it is a result of the positive atmosphere at the club and the high-levels of confidence instilled in the players.
“Sundowns are in form and their morale is high. Everyone in the team is confident and that's why they are playing like that, 'Chippa' told the Siya crew.
Masinga believes that the team’s dynamic has helped the players to combine well, which has led to the great results that they have achieved this season.
“They have gelled well as a team and no matter who plays on the day, they will give you good results because they are on form," the former Bari striker concluded.
Sundowns will look to grab yet another win as they take on struggling Bloemfontein Celtic at the Lucas Moripe Stadium tomorrow at 19:30.
