Mamelodi Sundowns forward Percy Tau was delighted to help his side finally claim a win over Cape Town City, having failed on three previous occasions.

The top-of-the-table clash saw the Brazilians come into the game with loads of pressure, being beaten thrice by the Cape Town outfit.
“I’m so happy with the points. I think we really worked hard tonight. I think this is a reward of the hard work," Tau told SuperSport after the game.
“We knew it was not going to be easy because they’re at home and have beaten us in the last three games. So we knew they were going to give us a hard time because they are second on the log.
“So we needed to bring our A-game and it worked today. We needed that goal to give us three points. I’m so happy to contribute to the team."
Despite stretching their lead to seven points after 20 games, the Brazilians are not taking their foot off the pedal after losing the title at the death last season.
“We need to keep going. We still going to have tough games. Remember last season, we lost the league in the last three games. So we’re trying to improve on that," he added.
“We’ve got new signings that are helping us and hopefully we’ll work hard to win the league."
