The Siya crew has learnt from some reliable sources at Orlando Pirates, that the club has signed Mozambican striker, Helder Pelembe, on a three-year deal.
Pelembe started training with the Buccaneers at the end of October, with the view of impressing coach Roger de Sa and his technical team.
Now the crew understands that 26-year-old Mozambican striker has done enough to earn himself a three-year deal at Pirates.
The Siya crew contacted Pirates Administrative Manager Floyd Mbele for confirmation, however, he denied that any contracts has been signed.
“Pelembe is still undergoing a trial with us, but we haven’t signed any contract with him yet,” Mbele told the crew.
He becomes the second player to sign for Pirates after former Moroka Swallows winger, Lwazi Skosana also joined the Buccaneers this week.
