Bafana Bafana midfielder Ayanda Patosi will be ready to step up to the challenge and do the job for the nation if Gordon Igesund selects him for the game tonight.
The youngster from Cape Town is part of the Bafana team in Agadir for the international friendly against Morocco tonight.
The Lokeren player is delighted that he has been rewarded for his hard work in Belgium with a call-up to the national team.
“I won’t go into that field to impress anyone but to do my best for the team. I will go there to fight for the country and make sure that the nation is proud of us.
"I’ve got the support of everyone at home, especially from people where I come from. I will try not to disappoint.
"I believe that it’s the right time for me to be part of the team. I am ready to be part of the Bafana Bafana setup. God’s time is the best. It’s been wonderful and I feel like I’ve been with the team for a long time,” said Patosi.
Bafana’s game against Morocco is at the Agadir Stadium from 9pm South African time.
