Former Dinamo Bucharest striker, Pape N’Daw, is training with Bidvest Wits at present, and is thought to have impressed Gavin Hunt up to now.
The tall 21-year-old, who measures in at around 6’4”, featured for the Clever Boys in their 1-0 friendly win over Mpumalanga Black Aces today, putting in a good shift and creating the goal for the hosts.
Now, having secured his clearance from Bucharest back in July, the striker is on the lookout for a new club, with South Africa seemingly his first choice.
N’Daw signed for Bucharest in 2013, however didn’t quite get the rub of the green in Romania and left the club at the end of this first season.
The powerful striker is said to have turned the head of Hunt with his performances in friendlies and training sessions so far, though it remains to be seen whether he will be offered a contract or not.
