TS Galaxy head coach Owen da Gama admits he made a 'tactical blunder' in the defeat to Mamelodi Sundowns on Sunday evening.
The Rockets remain without a win in the DStv Premiership this season after going down 3-0 to the defending champions at Loftus Versfeld.
The Galaxy tactician admits he made the mistake of using Mxolisi Macuphu on the winger instead of using a out-an-out winger.
"I think we made a tactical blunder. Instead of bringing a proper right winger we allowed Macuphu to go and play on the right and that's where I think things fell apart," Da Gama told SuperSport after the game.
"But it's all part of the learning curve. It's work in motion and we're building so you know I'm hundred percent certain that if we play the way we played in the first half I think things could turn out very well for us.
When asked about his former striker Peter Shalulile once again coming back to haunt his charges, Da Gama says he has been impressed by the success the Namibian has had since joining the champions at the beginning of last season.
"Well he's a good player. And he's done very very well," said the Rockets tactician.
"Sundowns are a superb team. There's no doubt about it. They can field any 11 players and they'll give any team a good run for its money so yes it's what we are up against. We can only learn from this type of situation and grow and hopefully one or two players will grow from this defeat."
