A former Orlando Pirates youngster has signed abroad as he looks to further his career after some disappointments.
After struggling in his search for a club in Mzansi’s top-flight this past season, Siyanda Ngubo has left the country to sign with Al-Qaisumah Football Club in Saudi Arabia, as confirmed by his representative from G & Q Management Sports Agency.
“Siyanda Ngubo has left for Saudi Arabia to join his new club. He has signed with Al-Qaisumah Football Club and is a South African youth international,” said Wellington Machaba of G & Q Management Sports Agency, speaking to the Siya crew.
Ngubo’s career started in 2015 at the Buccaneers, after he was promoted to the first team squad from the club’s youth development, though he didn’t get a chance to make a name for himself in the star-studded team.
Following two successive loan spells with Royal Eagles in the National First Division, the striker subsequently joined the KwaZulu-Natal outfit on a permanent deal, before switching to then cross-town rivals Richards Bay FC in 2018.
