Inspirational captian, Oupa Manyisa, has given Orlando Pirates a huge boost with news that he is now fit and ready to return to competitive action.
'Ace' has been battling to recover from the ankle injury he picked up in the game against Polokwane City in September, however a source close to the club has acknowledged that Eric Tinkler's prediction that Manyisa would return in April was spot on.
"As we speak now he is ready and fit to play.
"He can make contact now. He is kicking the ball very well and it's true he can only start playing official games in April because there are no games at the moment but he is ready," the source explained.
Manyisa could well be in contention for a place in the match-day squad when the Buccaneers host Free State Stars on Saturday, April 9.

It remains to be seen if Tinkler will immediately throw his skipper into action as they look to challenge for a top four finish in the Absa Premiership this season as well as target for silverware in the Nedbank Cup that is still underway.
