Orlando Pirates will have to make a decision on Tercious Malepe who is back at the club from a loan in Cape Town.
Malepe spent the 2017/18 season with Ajax Cape Town on loan from Pirates. During his time with the Urban Warriors, the defender made 18 appearances – 17 starts and one substitute appearance – in the Absa Premiership campaign for the team.
The Mother City club has confirmed that Malepe and the other players that have been on loan at the club have since left at the end of their deals on June 30.
Since being promoted from Pirates’ youth development as an 18-year-old in 2015, Malepe has been yet to get a chance to play for Bucs’ senior team.
Prior to his loan with Ajax, the centre-back had a loan stint with Moroka Swallows. Malepe is contracted to Bucs until 2021, according to the Siya crew’s records.
The Buccaneers have also welcomed back Sandile Mthethwa and Lebogang Sentsho, who had been on loan at Richards Bay FC, as well as Brian Hlongwa from Real Kings FC.
