Bucs To Test Readiness Against Former Player's Team
Orlando Pirates To Face A Team Coached By Their Former Player
Orlando Pirates are set to test their readiness for the new season against Zambian team coached by their former player.
The Buccaneers are in Zambia for the second phase of their pre-season training. As part of their stay in Zambia, Bucs have friendly matches lined up against Congolese giants, TP Mazembe, as well as Zambia Premier League side, Forest Rangers.
Former Pirates midfielder Perry Mutapa is the head coach of Rangers. The Principal, as Mutapa was fondly known to Bucs fans, was with the Soweto giants between 2004 and 2006.
Pirates are expected to return to Johannesburg next week and will host its end of the season awards for the 2017/18 campaign on July 19.
