Orlando Pirates PRO, Mickey Modisane, tells the Siya crew that the club is yet to decide on what action to take on winger, Khethokwakhe Masuku.
This comes after Masuku decided to put his headphones on while sitting on the bench after he was substituted in the 2-0 win over Santos in the Nedbank Cup last Friday.
“We’re still waiting for the commissioner’s report before deciding as to which steps to take on Masuku,” Modisane told the Siya crew.
“Obviously, wearing headphones on the bench does disrupt the other players, but I don’t want to pre-empt what the club will do. As the club we don’t condone such behaviour from our players. We have spoken to him about the incident, but we will follow the right procedure as soon as we have all the relevant information,” added Modisane.
Meanwhile, Modisane also explained that Pirates are not playing tonight as that game was postponed to a date that is yet to be announced by the PSL.
“Our next game is against Moroka Swallows on Saturday. The PSL postponed the game against Stars this week, and we’re still waiting for them to give us another date for this clash,” explained Modisane.
