The Siya crew can confirm that Mamelodi Sundowns have officially made contact with Golden Arrows to secure Bonginkosi Ntuli’s services.
In the January transfer window the bulky striker was linked with a move away from the club, but the Durban-based side managed to hang on to him as they attempted to avoid relegation. As it stands, Sundowns have made their intentions clear.
Soccer Laduma sources close to the player have revealed that he has verbally agreed terms with the newly-crowned league champions.
Although Downs have made contact with the Durban-based team, the two clubs are yet to sit down and negotiate a potential transfer fee. For a deal to be concluded, the selling club and the buying club need to agree terms, while the player must agree on personal terms.
Downs are adamant on landing Ntlui's signature, however both SuperSport United and Orlando Pirates have also expressed their interest in the player, which could well end up in a three-way bidding war for the highly-rated young player.
With the transfer window not officially open, the speculation surrounding Ntuli’s next move seems to be the first bit of transfer activity to keep fans on the edge of their seat. Soccer Laduma will keep you updated as the story unfolds!
