Pirates scored five goals in their last two matches – two against Black Leopards and three against SuperSport United, Adam has since explained what his role entails.
In an interview with Pirates TV, the Frenchman provided insight into his role at Bucs.
“I have been appointed as the coach of finishing, working exclusively with the strikers. We work on the situations we find to the game, developing techniques or make corrections about positioning and try to be more efficient when it comes to finishing the action,” Adam told Pirates TV in part.
The Buccaneers will aim to continue with their scoring form when they come up against Cape Town City in their Absa Premiership match at the Orlando Stadium tonight as Adam is keen to see the strikers score goals.
“To me, finishing is the ability to take the right decision at the right time (and) to have proper technique to finish action and to get the good gesture to score the goals. But it’s also a very mental problem. A striker has to have an obsession for goals,” he said.
Bucs has posted a link to Adam's exclusive interview on the club’s official Twitter account.
