Orlando Pirates’ latest signing says while growing up his dream had been to play for Kaizer Chiefs.
Meshack Maphangule, who starred for Black Leopards in their promotion-winning campaign from NFD to the PSL, has signed with Orlando Pirates.
The 26-year-old midfielder, whose contract with Leopards is set to expire at the end of the month, has been signed by the Buccaneers for the new season.
The player is delighted about getting a chance to play for one of the big clubs in South Africa.
“It has always been my dream to play for one of the big three clubs in the country. I grew up supporting Kaizer Chiefs and I always wanted to play for Kaizer Chiefs,” said Maphangule.
“But after I turned professional I told myself that I would be happy if I get to play for one of the big three clubs one day. I am happy that I am going to Pirates,” said Maphangule.
