Orlando Pirates have confirmed that the club has signed Kermit Erasmus from SuperSport United on a three-year deal.
The club announced on their official website that they have clinched the 23-year-old’s signature, putting the speculation surrounding the player’s immediate future to rest.

It was reported last week by Soccer-Laduma that Pirates were looking to conclude a deal with Erasmus, with the player having been linked to Kaizer Chiefs and Mamelodi Sundowns during the current transfer window.

“Orlando Pirates Chairman Dr. Irvin Khoza has just announced a conclusion of a deal by Orlando Pirates, SuperSport United and Kermit Erasmus's agent for the transfer of striker Kermit Erasmus to Orlando Pirates,” read on orlandopiratesfc.com.
“Reinforcement of the team’s firepower is crucial for our success this season. I am delighted that Kermit is joining the Mighty Buccaneers,” Pirates Chairman, Irvin Khoza, added on the club’s site.
