Word coming out of the Orlando Pirates camp is that the club looks set to hold talks with midfielder, Oupa Manyisa, over a contract extension.
The Bafana Bafana midfielder will see his contract with the Parktown-based side expire at the end of next month, with speculation rife that there’s overseas interest in him.
Egyptian giants Al Ahly were also said to be interested in 'Ace', however, nothing came out of that speculation.
However, a source close to the Pirates management told the crew that the club wants to exercise their option on the 25-year-old midfielder’s contract.
Manyisa, who is a product of the Africa Sport Youth Development Academy, joined the Buccaneers in 2008. He has been an integral part of the Pirates team since then.
