Orlando Pirates have announced the date of their end of the season awards for the team’s impressive run of the 2018/19 PSL campaign.
Following the team’s return from the off-season break, head coach Milutin Sredojevic and his technical team took the players to Nelspruit in Mpumalanga for the first phase of their pre-season.
On their return from Mpumalanga, the Buccaneers confirmed leaving for Zambia on Tuesday morning for the second phase of their pre-season which is set to take place in Ndola.
As confirmed by Sredojevic, the technical team had an opportunity of blending the team’s new signings with their new teammates during the week-long training camp in Nelspruit.
On their return from Zambia, the Buccaneers will be expected to host their awards ceremony, as confirmed by the club’s media department on their social media platforms.
As confirmed on the club's official Twitter account, the awards ceremony has been scheduled for next Thursday on July 19.
Last season Pirates enjoyed a turnaround season which saw them improve from their 11th place finish of the 2016/17 campaign to finishing second under Sredojevic.
The team has also qualified for a return to compete in the CAF Champions League.
