Pirates Provide Update On Ovono

Orlando Pirates have provided an update on the future of goalkeeper, Felipe Ovono, who was placed on the transfer list.

The club announced last month that the Equatorial Guinea shot-stopper was placed on the transfer list along with Sifiso Myeni and Lehlohonolo Majoro, who has since left to join Cape Town City.

However, despite reports linking Ovono with a move away from the club, Pirates have now confirmed that the player is still with the team.

"Whether listed or not, until anything is concluded between interested parties, the player remains part of the Club." Pirates' Senior Administrator Floyd Mbele said via twitter.
Pirates also confirmed that the 23-year-old is currently in camp with the first team in the North West.
The Buccaneers will face Platinum Stars in the Maize Cup on Saturday afternoon.
