Orlando Pirates Provide Injury Update For Their Stars
Orlando Pirates provided an update on six of their players that have been recovering from injury.
The Buccaneers are preparing for tomorrow’s Absa Premiership game against Cape Town City.
“The Bucs medical team has released an update on the injury situation at the club ahead of Orlando Pirates’ Absa Premiership encounter against Cape Town City Football Club tomorrow night.
“Whenever the term mass exodus is used in football it often refers to something negative – i.e. Players being released from contract, but fortunately its good news in this particular case for the first team.
“According to the medical team, the following players have been discharged from the physio room and have started their respective rehabilitation programs. Siyabonga Mpontshane, Riyaad Norodien, Lehlohonolo Mtshali, Thamsanqa Sangweni (and) Nkosinathi Mthiyane,” Bucs stated on the club’s official website.
“Meanwhile, Gladwin Shitolo continues to undergo strength training and has been ruled out for this week along with left back Marc Van Heerden who sustained a knock to the knee in a friendly match on Sunday,” the club confirmed.
